Figuring out how much to eat is often a daunting task. At the very least, it’s not fun or exciting.
However, dialing in your macronutritients can be one of the biggest boosts for your performance and overall health.
Indeed, Dr. Mike Israetel suggests that caloric intake and macronutrient balance alone can impact our progress by upwards of 80%.
This isn’t to say that what you eat isn’t also important. Nutrient density and overall food quality are absolutely things you should be concerned with, particularly if you’re thinking long term. But that’s a discussion for another time.
