CrossFit is a constant evolution.  It is about learning more… there is never a point of knowing all.  The foundations of CrossFit itself pulls from gymnastics, Olympic lifting, and metabolic conditioning methods.  Over time, CrossFit has evolved.  No longer is CrossFit just “mainsite.”

Affiliates develop their own programming based on their client’s needs and goals.  There is CrossFit endurance for athletes that have a passion for endurance sports such as marathons and triathlons.  CrossFit Navy Seals which focuses it’s programming on training military personnel.  CrossFit Football for rugby and football training.

Each one takes the general basis of CrossFit’s “constantly varied, functional movements” and programs the exercises to build upon specific athletic goals.

Dutch Lowry has dedicated time to examine several of these different programming methods, have a look, and get learned!
