Dates and Prunes “Brownie” Truffles

Ever try backwards double-unders?  What about weighted backwards double-unders?  How about while wearing a giant togue?

Ever try backwards double-unders? What about weighted backwards double-unders? How about while wearing a giant togue?

Another holiday treat, so you can indulge without falling off the wagon completely!

Ingredients for about 20 truffles:

  • 1/2 cup pitted prunes
  • 1/2 cup pitted dates
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder (plus more for rolling)
  • 3 – 4 tablespoons maple syrup or golden syrup or honey

Process all ingredients in a food processor until everything is finely chopped and resembles a dense paste. Using a small ice cream scoop, scoop some of the paste, roll into a ball and roll in cocoa powder.

  • Double-unders
  • Sit-ups
