Weekend Schedule Changes

Yoga is cancelled on Saturday. It's back on regular schedule next week.

Monday CrossFit Classes are cancelled, except for a 9am class that everyone is welcome to jump in on.

We are back to our regular schedule on Tuesday.

Our yoga classes make for a perfect warm up before CrossFit, and are a great change of pace after a hard week of training.

What are the classes like?

Led by veteran yoga instructor, Jair Moreno, our yoga classes are an Ashtanga/Power Yoga hybrid.  Mobility and flexibility are heavily emphasised, with a strong focus on core strength for stability and balance.

  • Days: Saturdays
  • Time: 9:00am – 10:00am
  • Cost: Drop-ins: $25; Members = 1 class


About Jair

Jair has been practicing many types of yoga for 6 years, but the natural athlete in him gravitated him towards Ashtanga, which he has studied and taught for more than 4 years.

Jair studied and successfully completed 2 teacher training programs at The Yoga Sanctuary, the first one in September 2006 (250 hours, a Ashtanga, Hatha-Vinyasa program) and the second one in September 2008 (300 hours, Advanced Teacher program).  Always looking to take his practice to the next level,  in July 2009 Jair also completed 2 weeks intense of Acrobatic Yoga training in Montreal, a modality that he continues to teach and practice at many studios in the city.

He felt in love with CrossFit in September 2010 and his first reaction was ” What!?  A yogi doing CrossFit”!  But he realized that combining yoga and CrossFit can take your body to new heights.  Just like CrossFit, yoga requires determination, passion and being in the moment to create great performance.
