First Practice

Today was our first "practice" session in preparation for the upcoming FGB III fundraiser on September 27, 2008.  Like last year, we will be running FGB fairly frequently between now and the FGB III event, ramping up to weekly practice in August.

If you have not done so already, please consider joining our team.  If you can join, please consider sponsoring either our team as a whole or any individual participating.


Workout

Fight Gone Bad

In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating.

The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. On call of "rotate", the athletes must move to next station immediately for good score. One point is given for each rep, except on the rower where each calorie is one point.

Complete 3 rounds of:

  • Wall ball
  • Sumo deadlift high pulls
  • Box jumps
  • Push press
  • Row

4 rounds for time of:

  • 10 Box jumps
  • 10 Jumping pull-ups
  • 5 Skin-the-cats
  • 5 Shuttle runs
