In a globo gym, a common question is “what do you bench?” Among runners, one might ask “what’s your 10k time?” In a Crossfit gym, your Fran score is generally accepted to be a benchmark of fitness. Trailing not far behind is the dreaded muscle up. We all want one, right? Crossfit NorCal has some things to say about muscle ups: how to get them, who should avoid them, and why they’re not all that… but they sure are fun.
