How often have you turned to your bottle of Advil the morning after a grueling workout?  If you’re an endurance athlete, have you made a habit of taking ibuprofen prophylactically before races?  That might not be such a hot idea, according to this article.  It turns out that athletes who are popping NSAIDs before endurance efforts in the hopes of avoiding DOMs or mid-event pain are popping pills in vain, and possibly hurting their future athletic potential.

Kelly Starrett from San Francisco CrossFit also has something to say on the subject (we have posted this before but it merits repeating).

Please note that we have a single class at 9am on Thanksgiving, Monday, October 12.  As usual, everyone is welcome to join in on the fun!
