The LONGEST day of the Year was experienced by many of our members yesterday at the Summer Solstice Fundraiser for Camp Bucko.
From 5:36am to 9:03pm, we managed continuous workouts. And no easy workouts at that!
Workout 1
As Many Rounds as possible in 15 minutes of:
- 20 Jumping
- Sprint to next Station (approx. 50m)
- 20 Double Unders
- Burpee Long Jump to next Station (approx. 40m) (Ugh!)
- 20 Kettlebell Swings
- Sprint to next Station (approx. 50m)
- 20 Wall Ball shots
- Sprint to first Station (approx. 25m)
*Rounds accomplished ranged from 2-3 full rounds
Workout 2
As Many Rounds as possible in 15 minutes of:
- Sprint 50m
- 1 Burpee
- Sprint 50m
- 2 Box Jumps (20″)
- Sprint 50m
- 2 Burpees
- Sprint 50m
- 4 Box Jumps (20″)
- Sprint 50m
- 3 Burpees
- Sprint 50m
- 6 Box Jumps (20″)
And up the ladder…
*Rounds accomplished ranged from 6 to 10, the highest at 12 rounds!
Our Crossfitter’s brought friends and family as participants and spectators, and completed both workouts in a 2-hour timeframe. The Workouts were run continuously ALL day, every 15 minutes. The watch never stopped! And MANY members stayed and completed more than 2!
Cameron completed 16 workouts in the 16 hours. NO JOKE! And to boot, he never dropped his intensity through all 16. It was an awesome feat to watch! Wristband power!
